Mariposa et ses amis vivent dans un royaume protégé par les lumières magiques de la Reine. Mais les fleurs qui diffusent cette lumière menacent de s'éteindre car la Reine a été empoisonnée par la cruelle Henna. Le Prince et Mariposa partent alors à la recherche d'un antidote afin de sauver la Reine et le Royaume.
